Based on the Old Platform

A huge number of planks were removed in Portland. A few were replaced by new planks. More were merged into new combination planks. The rest (the biggest number), were simply dropped.

Do we want to just say nothing for all the dropped planks? Or do we wish to revive some of the old categories? Do we want to revive old planks or have new planks for the old categories?

In this area, all the old planks that were dropped, merged or replaced have been kept, along with replacements proposed before the 2006 convention.

Do note some of the the proposals are dated! Where it says "Keep the Existing Plank" you should now read "Restore the Old Plank." If the webmaster ever finds time to fix the dated files, this might be fixed—but don't hold your breath.
