The Floor Strategy

The communists used to brag that a well organized 5% constitutes an "effective majority" in a parliamentary system. This is true in a group that has no other strong and organized factions, nor has great familiarity with parliamentary procedure.

This is not the case for the Libertarian Convention. Libertarian delegates know parliamentary procedure, and the purists are well organized to fight against change.

We need to win the hearts of the delegates and be prepared to do floor fighting against an "effective majority" who opposes our aims.

We need to think long and hard on how to accomplish this.
